3. Vendor Responsibilities
 
– Vendors are responsible for maintaining accurate product listings, pricing, and inventory on the platform.
– Vendors must fulfill customer orders promptly and provide timely shipping and order tracking information.
– Vendors are required to use Africawa’s integrated inventory management system to synchronize sales between their physical and online stores.
– Vendors may use promotional tools, such as discounts and coupon codes, to encourage customer engagement. However, vendors must ensure that all promotional activities comply with applicable laws and do not mislead customers.
– Vendors must ensure that the goods they sell are authentic, of high quality, and comply with all relevant legal requirements.
– Africawa provides a dashboard with analytics and insights. Vendors are encouraged to use this data for business growth and operational improvements.
 
4. Payments and Fees
 
Africawa facilitates payments between customers and vendors. Customers can pay for their orders using cash on delivery or other available payment methods.
– Africawa may charge vendors a commission on sales made through the platform. The commission rate will be specified in the vendor’s agreement.
– Vendors are responsible for any applicable taxes or fees related to their sales on Africawa.
 
5. Shipping and Delivery
 
Vendors are responsible for shipping products to customers in a timely manner. Shipping costs and options are determined by the vendor.
– Africawa provides a tracking system to ensure customers are informed about the status of their orders. Vendors must keep tracking information up to date.
– Africawa is not responsible for any delays, damages, or issues that arise during the shipping process. Vendors must handle any shipping-related disputes with customers directly.
 
6. Affiliate Program
 
All registered users of Africawa automatically become affiliates.
– Affiliates can earn commissions by referring others to Africawa. Commissions are paid on successful purchases or sales made by the referred individuals.
Africawa reserves the right to modify or terminate the affiliate program at any time. Affiliates must comply with Africawa’s affiliate policies and avoid any unethical or misleading promotion practices.
 
7. Refunds and Returns
 
 Africawa encourages vendors to provide clear return and refund policies. Vendors must ensure their return policies comply with applicable consumer protection laws.
– If a customer requests a return or refund, the vendor is responsible for resolving the issue directly with the customer.
– Africawa is not liable for any disputes related to returns, refunds, or product dissatisfaction. Vendors must maintain open communication with customers to resolve any issues promptly.
 
8. Intellectual Property
 
– All content on the Africawa platform, including but not limited to text, images, logos, and software, is the intellectual property of Africawa or its licensors. Vendors and customers may not use this content without prior permission.
– Vendors must ensure that all product listings and promotional materials they upload to Africawa do not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of third parties.
 
9. Limitation of Liability
 
– Africawa is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that arise from the use of the platform, including but not limited to product defects, shipping issues, or vendor/customer disputes.
– Africawa does not guarantee the availability, quality, or safety of products sold by vendors.
 
10. Privacy

11. Termination
 
– Africawa reserves the right to terminate a vendor’s or affiliate’s account if they violate any of the platform’s terms or engage in any fraudulent or unethical activities.
– Vendors or customers who wish to terminate their accounts must provide written notice to Africawa. Any pending transactions must be completed before account termination.
 
12. Governing Law
 
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction where Africawa operates. Any disputes arising under these terms must be resolved through mediation or arbitration in accordance with local laws.
